Referees and Scorekeepers

Basketball Referees! (New & Experienced)

9th grade & Older. The Basketball Referee Meeting is Sunday (Nov. 20, 2011), from 1 p.m. to approximately 4 p.m. in the Msgr. Buchheit Parish Center, in the gym. At this important meeting we will review the rules and look at any new rules that CYC may have added. We will also schedule the beginning of the Mike Kelly Tournament.

This meeting is MANDATORY for everyone in his or her 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of refereeing. Please contact John Hawkey at jhawkey@desmet.org if you are interested in reffing.

Basketball Scorekeepers

7th Grade & Older - you must attend a 1-hour training session on MONDAY, NOV. 14, at 7:45 p.m. in the Back Lower Cafeteria, plus work 2 training games in the Mike Kelly Tournament. You MUST register for the class at mbess25@att.net

Holy Infant Basketball

In Case of Inclement Weather - CALL 636-386-5199

Registration for the 2012 season will open on August 29, 2011 and will close at midnight on OCT. 10, 2011. A late fee of $25 will be in effect starting at midnight on October 3, 2011. NO REFUNDS after October 10th.

Returning players are placed on the team they played on the prior year. New players are NOT guaranteed spots on a specific team.

FEES are $105 for 1 child, $190 for 2 children, and $265 for 3 or more.

Uniform Deposit:
Holy Infant requires a $50 uniform deposit that is returned to each player at the end of the season when the uniform is returned.

CYC Identification Cards:
For players 5th grade and higher, CYC requires that each player obtain a CYC identification card. Check the links on the left side of this page for more information on CYC ID cards.

HOLY INFANT Basketball registration for 2011-2012 will be open August 29 and is open to any individual that meets at least one of the following criteria:

1. You reside within the Holy Infant Parish boundary

2. You do NOT reside within the boundary, but one of the following applies:

A. You are a registered Holy Infant parishioner

B. Your player presently attends Holy Infant Full-Time School or PSR

C. Your player played for a Holy Infant basketball team in grades 5 - 7, in 2010-2011

D. Your player has received a waiver from your local parish

If NONE of the above eligibility conditions apply, please use the link below to determine the Parish in which you reside and then register your player with that Parish

Completing the registration process DOES NOT guarantee a player will be assigned to a team. The League will do its best to inform registrants ASAP if there are problems regarding team placement.

Team Formation: Holy Infant Basketball is a faith-based, recreational league and not a "Select" program. Team formation is the responsibility of the Holy Infant Basketball program. No team will be allowed to enter/remain in West County CYC if it is discovered that the team was formed based on skill level tryouts.
