****SIGN UP FOR THE HOLY INFANT GOLF PROGRAM****
The Holy Infant Athletic Association is pleased to announce that on-line registration is currently underway for the 2011 Holy Infant Golf Program, sponsored by the Tri-County CYC. All students grades 1-8, living within the parish boundaries, are welcome to join!
TRAINING LEAGUE DIVISION (non-competitive):
Grades 1 – 4. No experience is necessary. Program runs March 26-June 4.
$95* per Training League golfer. Mandatory uniform shirt, at an additional cost of $19.50. See uniform note below.
Professional golf instruction, four (4), 55 minute group clinics (covers basic fundamentals and putting, chipping, full swing, and on-course lesson), in addition to four (4) rounds of 9-hole golf matches. Teams of 8 will be formed*. Parent participation is required. (Quite experienced golfers may play at the Junior League level). Golf/clinics will be held at the Golf Headquarters Family Golfplex in O’Fallon, MO.
JUNIOR LEAGUE DIVISION (competitive):
Grades 5 – 8. No experience is necessary. Program runs April 2-June 4. Championship play June 11-25.
$125* per Junior League golfer. Mandatory uniform shirt, at an additional cost of $19.50. See uniform note below. Mandatory etiquette seminar, (presentation, then Q & A session). No golfer will play without seminar attendance. Seminar locations will be posted on the Holy Infant web site. CYC Cards are required for any golfer playing at the Junior level. Please visit the West County CYC web site for card info. (www.westcountycyc.org). Teams of 8 will be formed* according to grade/gender/experience, and will play other teams of like skill. Professional golf instruction, three (3), 90 minute team group lessons (4/2 - 4/16 – r/o 4/23) at the Golf Headquarters Family Golfplex in O’Fallon, MO, and 6 rounds of 9-hole golf matches. Parent participation is required. Golf will be held at Pheasant Run Golf Course, Family Golf in Kirkwood, Riverside, Forest Park, Crescent Farm and Hawk Ridge.
Attention 8th Grade Teams: 8th grade TEAMS will receive their lessons (clinics) through golf pro and West County CYC President, Todd Meyer at Whitmoor Country Club. These clinics will cover basic fundamentals of the short game and full swing. They will also cover items each Junior needs to be prepared for if they plan on playing High School golf.
Clinic dates are: 3/26, 4/2, 4/9 and 4/16 (r/o 4/23).

TWO WAYS TO REGISTER YOUR GOLFER:
Walk-in registration will be held after ALL Masses Sunday, February 27th in the gym lobby (7:30a.m.-1:30p.m.).

Uniforms: You need to purchase your uniform shirt through Kid’s Sports World, 1762 Clarkson Road, Chesterfield (636/530-1300). Green visors and hats available for $4.99, embroidered towels, $15.00. Please pay upon ordering.
*NO refunds will be made after March 2, 2011. Placement preference will not be guaranteed. Please note that prior EXISTING teams will be given priority placement with their previous year’s team over new additions, unless golfers must be moved to accommodate the creation of another team of the same grade for eligibility purposes. The need to round out teams will have priority over player preference. However, we will do our best with each golfer’s placement preference. Team formation will be completed by March 3rd. Additionally, a late fee of $50/golfer will be imposed after February 28th, 2011.
