Holy Infant participates in the West County District of the Catholic Youth Apostolate's soccer leagues.
Eligibility:
Girls and boys, kindergarten through high school that live within Holy Infant parish boundaries are eligible to play in the Holy Infant Soccer Program.
Games / Practices:
CYC games usually start the first week-end after Labor Day and continue for 10 weeks, ending the first week in November. Games are usually on the weekends, but older children may occasionally play during the week.
Practices are usually once a week for an hour. Coaches pick their practice day, time and location. Holy Infant teams practice at Selvidge, Woerther, Oakbrook and Ridge Elementary schools. Games are held at these fields are at parish fields who participate in the West County District.
Registration:
Soccer registration will begin in May. A link for electronic registration will be included on this site when we are accepting player registration. Fees are undecided for 2010, but last year's fee was $100 per player and includes a returnable uniform, 10 games, practice times and field permits.
Uniform Deposit:
Holy Infant requires a $50 uniform deposit that is returned to each player at the end of the season when the uniform is returned.
CYC Identification Cards:
For players 5th grade and higher, CYC requires that each player obtain a CYC identification card. Area schools offer ID Card nights through out the year for players to obtain their cards. Check the links on the left side of this page for more information on CYC ID cards.
